# Privacy notice

attestium.com sets no cookies and runs no analytics, tracking or advertising code. Every page, font, image and script is served from attestium.com itself, so your browser contacts no third party while you read it.

## What the site stores in your browser

If you change the color theme with the theme button, the choice (`light` or `dark`) is saved in your browser's `localStorage` under the key `theme`. It stays on your device and is never sent anywhere. Choose the system theme again to remove it.

## What the host logs

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub's documentation states that when a GitHub Pages site is visited, the visitor's IP address is logged and stored for security purposes. The Forward Email team receives no visitor data from it.

## The library

Attestium, the library, sends nothing to the Forward Email team. A verifier downloads the references you configure it to use, such as registry packages, container images and release archives, from the services that publish them.
